Dominican Republic Customs reached 4th Position in World Bank Ranking

The World Bank recently ranked the Dominican Republic’s Customs Department at the 4^th position on a list of other Latin American and Caribbean countries with high degrees of foreign direct investment. We must remind our readers that on July 2006, the Dominican Congress enacted Law 226-06 which provided autonomy to Dominican Customs and, among other achievements, has helped streamline a significant part the institution’s main processes.
